be thy will.

be thy will.

For all that I have, I have it not on my own merit, but your goodness and grace. My health, my birth, my intelligence, my conscience, my talents are given, and not earned through my own cleverness or by my own strength.

Therefore I am nothing with you.

I am afraid. I cannot see. But I will trust in you Lord, to carry me tightly, through the darkness. I will trust in you Lord, to comfort me, through the sadness. I will trust in you Lord, to shield me, from my enemies and their knives.

be thy will. be thy will.
