Pon de Replay and Barbados

4+ years ago I was healing from a shitty waste-my-time breakup and listening way too much to soppy love songs. I was missing out on the fun music. So yeah I'm making up for it. One of the nicer dance hits in 2005/06 by Rihanna before she turned into her current crazy over-revealing dark image. It's called Pon de Replay... about how she's asking the DJ to turn up the music and heat the dance floor.

And all thanks to Ms Rihanna, I went to read up on Barbados - the country where she's born. Interesting little place, somewhat like Singapore. Queen's colony, they speak English, extremely high literacy rate, etc. Nice national flower and oh, their beaches look beautiful...ahh..
