Andras Schiff and the crazy day ahead.

10.36am. I'm all showered and now doing QT.

Thing is, it's pretty late. My flatmates knocked on my door at 6.30am cos we're supposed to go practice at 7.00am (that's how EARLY you gotta be to get a practice room.). But I really can't get myself out of bed. How do people do this practice till 11.00pm business then wake up at 6.00am to do the same again? Don't they need to sleep?

Or do great pianists not sleep much? Is that how they become so good?

Anyway, I'll get to practice 11am-1pm today so I gotta get ready soon. And then the crazy day starts. Practice, Lunch, Orchestra Rehearsal, Accompaniment for Terry's viola masterclass, Forum, then the great Andras Schiff masterclass. Non-stop from 11am to 9.30pm. Oh and I might need to practice after 9.30pm since I won't get much time today. Wow. This will be a blast.

Or madness.

Started reading on Philippians today.
"And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ - to the glory and praise of God."
- Philippians 1:9-11

It's quite a bit to digest and I think i'll do that for now. :)

Ok, gotta run now.!!
