The Lord is faithful

Psalm 145

Verse 3

Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;

his greatness no one can fathom

Verse 13-16

The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.

The LORD upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.

The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time.

You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living being.

The above verses reminds me that God is truly Almighty... as the Creator of this universe and me, his power, wisdom, grace, and plans are above my human understanding. And in that very sense, it is comforting because then I can trust in God to be taking care of everything that's happening - because He is able to, and also because He wants to, and He will.

God is faithful to His promises - such peace and joy in knowing that! If a human being makes a promise to you, he/she could break the promise or not live up to his/her promise. But God does not and will not break His promise to us. How marvellous is that?! 

Lord, remind me of your greatness. Remind me that you have everything in control. Remind me that You are aware of all that is happening and nothing is happening by accident. Teach me to trust in you, Lord. Guide my heart of little faith. Lord and I commit my life and plans to you so You may work them according to Your will. Amen.
