Hey there.
I was reading (as usual before I shut my eyes to sleep) this book titled 'Come Thirsty' by Max Lucado and something he wrote inside there ministered to me.
You see, I was trying to read, but before I flipped the book in bed, I was just strolling around in the apartment's living room, switching the lights off .. when some memories of a particular someone came to mind. I felt a long-due dull suppressed pain in my heart, and almost felt tears rising to my eyes. Sigh. Guess its easier to love him than to dislike or despise him. But what am I supposed to do?
While I was trying to read, my mind was constantly distracted with random fragmented recollections of our past. I was filled with frustration. Guilt. How can I speak to God or hear what He has to say when there so much of these unnecessary unrelated thoughts crowding and shouting around me? So I prayed. Then I returned to reading, and this is what I read...

Who has time to wait?.. But waiting doesn't mean inactivity -- rather inHIMactivity. Waiting means watching for him. If you are waiting on a bus, you are watching for the bus. If you are waiting on God, you are watching for God, searching for God, hoping in God. Great promises come to those who do. "But those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They wil walk and not faint".
To those who still struggle, God says, "Wait on me." And wait in the right place. Jesus doesn't tell us to stay in Jerusalem, but he does tell us to stay honest, stay faithful, stay true. "If you rebel against the Lord's commends and refuse to listen to him, then his hand will be as heavy upon you as it was upon your ancestors". Are you illegally padding your pocket? Are you giving your body to someone who doesn't share your name and wear your ring? Is your mouth a Mississippi River of gossip? If you intentionally hang out at the bus stop of disobedience, you need to know something -- God's bus doesn't stop there. Go to the place of obedience.

I know many of you, my friends, are not christians. The above paragraph may, or may not sound heavy. Perhaps what I wrote above, you could think it in your own religion's context. But upon digesting each line, the message is simple, and it was the answer to my plea. I need to wait on God.
Let's wait at his bus-stop.
